Grading & Report Cards

At Gregory Lincoln, we believe that grades should reflect a student’s mastery of content, consistent effort, and growth over time. Teachers use a variety of assessments—formative and summative—to monitor progress and guide instruction.

Report cards are issued every six weeks to provide families with a clear snapshot of their child’s academic performance, behavior, and attendance. Progress reports are also sent home mid-cycle to keep families informed and engaged.

Families are encouraged to regularly check HISD Connect (Parent Portal) for real-time updates on grades, assignments, and teacher feedback.
